A man was rushed to hospital after the bus he was travelling in crashed into an electricity post.
The accident occurred yesterday morning along Robertson Road in Suva involving a Nasese Bus Co.Ltd bus.
Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro said the passenger who is said to be the bus checker remains admitted at the Colonial War Memorial Hospital.
“The cause is still being established and we are still investigating the accident,” Ms Naisoro said.
Police have urged motorists to take extra precautions while travelling especially during the rainy season.
