Spencer Goes For Gold

He will be representing Suva Two in the 200metres, 400m and the relay
As a final-year student of Yat Sen Primary School, Dylan Spencer hopes to win his first gold medal in the Chow Games in Suva next weekend.
Spencer will be representing Suva Two in the 200metres, 400m and the relay.
Catching up with SUNsports while training at the ANZ Stadium yesterday, Spencer says, he was hoping to achieve his personal target.
“My parents were sprinters back in their time, this will be my fifth year and I hope to make them proud,” he said.
“Training has been tough this couple of weeks but I know that it’s for the good of the team, and our coaches have been very helpful.”
The Savusavu lad is one of the few students from Yat Sen Primary School to participate in the Chow Games but has high hopes with the amount of support he has been receiving from his family and school.
“I’m not going to give-up and I wish all athletes the very best in this year’s games,” he added.
