Fijian born- Barbarians centre Seta Tamanivalu is going to miss Saturday’s clash against the Vodafone Flying Fijians.

This was after Tamanivalu was yesterday called to join the All Blacks squad for their Northern Hemisphere tour after George Moala was forced out with an elbow injury.

Crusaders recruit Tamanivalu, 24, played for the Barbarians in their 31-31 draw with South Africa in London last weekend. He will join the All Blacks ahead of their match against Italy in Rome on Sunday. He has played three Tests for the All Blacks.

On the same note, big Fijian-born winger Taqele Naiyaravoro is going to be the Barbarians trump card.

The Yasawa native scored a try against South Africa and was later named man of the match.

The former Suva Grammar School student has played for the Wallabies and is expected to face burly Fijian winger Nemani Nadolo.

The clash kicks-off at 8.30am on Saturday.
