Vodafone Backs Sukuna Bowl Comp

Vodafone Fiji has stepped forward as silver sponsors of the 2016 Ratu Sukuna Bowl competition.
Yesterday, Vodafone Fiji chief commercial officer Ronald Prasad presented a $20,000 cheque to Colonel Neumi Vakadewasuka at the Vodafone Fiji headquarters, Tamavua.
Prasad said the company is supportive of sports as evident in their various sponsorships to sporting bodies around Fiji.
“This is the sixth year that Vodafone is supporting the Sukuna Bowl,” he said.
“We are happy to see the competition expanding. With the inclusion of golf, rugby, soccer and now rugby league, it will be interesting to see both forces battle it out for the title,”
Vakadewasuka acknowledged Vodafone Fiji for the timely boost.
“As stated we had introduced golf last year, rugby league this year and it will be an even bigger event next year. This will be a big challenge for us to take on last year’s winners so we are looking forward to that,” he said.
Acting Superintendent of Police Sakio Raikaci said the competition is not only about winning the Ratu Sukuna Bowl.
“It is a competition about bringing the forces together so we look forward to our continued partnership with Vodafone to help promote the competition,” he added.
