A woman, who is charged with one count of theft by the Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption (FICAC), appeared before Magistrate Makereta Mua at the Suva Magistrates Court yesterday.
Miliana Tinanimudra represented by Vani Ravono, was charged last month for allegedly facilitating payments to be made to Biosecurity Authority of Fiji and as a result, obtained a financial advantage amounting to $51,566.50.
The above incidents are alleged to have occurred between 2012 and 2013 whilst the accused was an employee of Asco Motors Limited.
State counsel Sanjana Datt sought an adjournment to December 7, for the prosecution to provide second phase disclosures.
Bail has been extended to the accused.
