Team manager Annielyse Coffin said though they are up against the Olympic champions, the boys are raring to go.

“The boys are set and they are ready and cannot wait to be on the field,” Coffin said.

“It’s going to be a big competition for them. It is a whole different squad this year and they will be able to compete with a lot of experienced players in the tournament.

“Playing against Fiji is going to be a difficult but I’m confident in the boys and we have a mixture of experienced players and young players.

“The experienced players have been a huge help in preparing this team. The new boys have picked up in training and learning a lot from them.

“We are definitely looking forward to playing against the teams in our pool.
