Government Supports: A-G

 

The Fijian Government will continue to work with Fiji Football Association to boost the profile of the sport in the country.

Acting Prime Minister Attorney-General and Minister for Economy, Public Enterprises, Public Service and Communications Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum made the comment during the opening of the 2016 Ram’s Cleaning Services Pacific Cup and RC Manubhai/APCO Coatings International Veterans Tournament at Prince Charles Park in Nadi yesterday.

He commended the participation of teams from Australia, New Zealand, USA and Canada.

“We would like to work closely with different associations and Fiji Football Association,” he said.

“It is wonderful to see so many Fijians who have left Fiji and are and enjoying football. I wish all the teams all the best.”

He also thanked major sponsor Ram’s Cleaning Services.

Fiji Football Association president Rajesh Patel said the event unites Fijians.
