The Gurjit Singh-coached AFL sponsored Suva side defeated USA All Stars 3-0 in the 2016 Rams Cleaning Services Pacific Cup at Prince Charles Park in Nadi yesterday.

Team captain Tomasi Uculoa led his side well.

After a scoreless first half, Setareki Hughes drew first blood. Sahil Dave scored the second goal from a penalty and Ravinesh Karan Singh sealed the win a low volley.

USA All Stars had the services of former national striker Kamal Hassan.

“The boys played well and they need motivation to win matches,” Singh said.

“I came to help as they struggled in the Vodafone Premier League. I had a lot of faith in this team and we just need to start playing more quality games.”

In the other matches Labasa edged AFFA All Stars 2-1.

The Babasiga Lions opened the floodgates in the 5th  minute through Pranil Naidu.

Blake Raciato equalised in the 35th minute and nine minutes later Ilisoni Loloivalu send their fans into frenzy with a good goal.

When this edition went to press last night Nadi was leading 2-0 over Ba.
