Aim To Be The Best: A-G to Students

Students of Tavua Primary School were reminded on Wednesday to aim to be the best in whatever they chose to do.
The reminder came from Acting Prime Minister and Attorney-General, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum, who was chief guest at the school’s prizegiving ceremony.
He also reminded students and teachers of the need to not only be good academically, but to be good citizens through words and deeds such as looking after the environment, not littering, among others.
He congratulated the award winners and urged all students to continue striving for excellence.
There was a large turnout of parents, friends and the public.
The Attorney-General also reiterated the need for parents to be equally as committed to their children’s education.
