Team managers from the 13 districts were yesterday briefed on the Central Division FMF Chow Games which starts at the ANZ Stadium today.
Fiji Primary School Athletics Association general-secretary Patrick Bower said they agreed on different rules.
“One of the new rules which would be introduced is the one break system,” Bower said.
“The next person who breaks at the start will be disqualified.
“We agreed there should be only one break and the children will need to adapt to system early.
“One of the big problems we faced in the past track and field event clash resulting in athletes missing out.”
Bower added the meeting was aimed to avoid hiccups during the games.
The gates open at 8am.
