Four people were rushed to hospital in separate road accidents in Suva yesterday.

The first accident involved two taxis and one private vehicle on Princes Road in Tamavua. Two people were rushed to hospital with serious injuries.

Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro confirmed that they were yet to receive details about the incident.

In the second accident, two men in their 40s were also rushed to hospital after another collision between a rental car and a taxi at McGregor Road, Suva.

Ms Naisoro, while confirming this said, the driver of the rental car allegedly lost control of the vehicle.

Investigations on both accidents continue.
