The Labasa team will feature in the Under-17 Northern Playoff final after they beat Dreketi 2-1 in Seaqaqa on Saturday.
The team play Seaqaqa on Wednesday.
Coach Roneel Ram was happy with the performance and was looking forward to the final.
“We aim to keep the momentum and win the tournament,” Ram said.
“Our game against Dreketi was good even though the weather was really hot.
“We blooded new players and one of them is Isaac Shahayam who did pretty well.”
Ram said the team would be working on their defence as they prepare for the final match.
“We don’t want to take any chances as Seaqaqa is a good team, ” Ram said.
