Police have started strongly on Day 1 of the ANZ Ratu Sukuna Bowl boxing competition at the Police Academy, Suva last night.

In a surprise move Fiji amateur boxing knockout specialist Cena Ruata has teamed-up with the Republic of the Fiji Military Forces (RFMF) side.

Officials later disqualified him as he has not joined the Forces.

The competition continues today.
