It was a proud moment yesterday for Year 8 student Arisha Lal when she scooped the top academic prize during the Swami Shraddhanand Memorial School prizegiving.
The dux winning teenager was beaming with joy when asked about her source for the achievement.
“I attribute my achievement to my parents and to my teachers who have helped me to succeed today,” said Arisha.
Arisha heads for Mahatma Gandhi Memorial High School next year and she aspires to be a medical doctor.
“We are so proud of her and all she’s achieved,” said proud Dad, Atish Lal.
