32 Tots Ready For Year 1

A total of 32 excited pre-schoolers graduated from the Wailevu Sanatan Dharam Kindergarten in Labasa on Wednesday.
The school was a sea of colour as the children bid farewell to their kindergarten.
Teacher Madhu Lata said she had prepared her students well and they were now ready for the new journey ahead.
“The students have been trained on the six pillars including spiritual, physical, learning to know, learning and living, aesthetics, and morals,” Ms Lata said.
She was confident the students will do well in Year One and wished them the best.
Ms Lata was emotional as she said her goodbyes to the students.
“These are more like my children than students, I ensured that they are fully-equipped when they enter primary school next year,” Ms Lata said.
A parent, Ilimenia Kereiwasa, said she was proud to see her daughter, Grace Talei, graduate yesterday.
“I would like to thank the school and her teacher for a great work done in teaching these children.
“At the same time, I am very proud to see my daughter graduating from kindergarten,” Ms Kereiwasa said.
“This is a joyous moments for all of the parents present here today.”
Ms Lata said the students were given prizes, gifts and their profile booklets to help them enrol for primary school.
