The Fiji Commerce Commission (FCC) is calling on all stakeholders who wish to import infant formula products to meet with them and discuss prices.

This is following the review of import requirements of infant formula by Biosecurity Authority of Fiji (BAF).

Imported baby milk of all types are price regulated by FCC under the ‘Commerce (Price Control) (Control of Prices for Food Items) Order 2015’.

BAF has reviewed the pathway of the infant formula.

The Authority will allow all infant formula which are accepted and approved for retail by Food Standards Australia and New Zealand (FSANZ) in Australia and New Zealand.

All interested parties are requested to visit FCC for any enquires on the Infant Formula that is currently retailed in Australia and New Zealand for consideration and subsequent price authorisation.
