Consultation On Policy Begin
The Ministry of Rural and Maritime Development and National Disaster Management is inviting members of the public and stakeholders to attend a consultation on the National Humanitarian Policy for Disaster Risk Management.
The Ministry also extends its invitation to humanitarian responders to cyclone Winston and organisations engaged in disaster risk management as the consultations will discuss the draft Policy.
Written submissions can be lodged by email before close of business November 30.
Consultations time and venue are as follows: Lautoka on November 29 at Commissioner Western’s Office, Vakabale Street, Lautoka from 9am to 11am. In Suva on November 10 at the Ministry of Rural and Maritime Development and National Disaster Management Headquarters, 1 Knolly Street, Suva from 9am to 11am.
