This One’s For My Parents: Dux Darshika

Year 13 student, Darshika Narayan, dedicated her Dux award achievement to her mother and family.
Darshika was presented the award during the Vashist Muni College prizegiving ceremony on Wednesday in Navua.
“I have never felt I am sacrificing anything because my mother and family have always stood by me to help and support me with all my necessities and academic works,” Darshika said.
Kelemeta Bakaniceva was presented the student of the year award.
Kelemeta, 13, of Navua dedicated her achievements to her family and her teachers.
“These achievements are not because of my work but also my family’s support and teacher’s hard work to help me go through all the academic challenges I came across,” she said.
Principal Rajneel Sharma said his students have made their parents, the teachers and staff members of the school and Navua proud.
“I wish the graduating students all the best for their tertiary world next year and take their values and skills from all their teachers in their future endeavours,” Mr Sharma said.
“I want to remind them that the sky is their limit so they can open their wings and fly high to achieve their dreams and fulfil their parent’s wishes.”
