The Vodafone Fijian 7s team landed in Doha, Qatar, yesterday confident of a positive outing at the Dubai 7s, the opening leg of the 2016/17 World Sevens Series.
“Finally reached Doha,” tweeted interim head coach Nacanieli Cawanibuka.
“Great place, facilities and people! It’s a transition phase for Fiji sevens but pretty much we’ve built on the platform that’s been established over the last three years.”
The team are preparing in Doha before moving across to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.
The Dubai 7s are next week from December 2 to 3. Fiji are defending champions.
The Vodafone Fijian 7s side are in Pool A with Canada, Wales and Argentina.
