MV Uluinabukelevu Just To Load Passengers And Their Cargoes
The Vanua Valesasa Transport Company Limited will not be loading hardware or housing materials this coming Christmas.
This was confirmed to the Fiji Sun by the company managing director Ilaitia Caginavanua.
Mr Caginavanua said this December their vessel MV Uluinabukelevu would only be loading passengers and their cargoes to outer islands.
In the past weeks he said many had turned up loading their housing material to be transported to outer islands in Gau, Kadavu and the Yasayasa Moala.
He said that passengers were well aware of this.
“We don’t want to face the same problem we have been facing in the past years,” Caginavanua said.
He says they will only be focusing on passengers next month as it is the busy time of the year where many people are going to spend Christmas with their family.
