The Republic of Fiji Military Forces Band shared Commander Rear Admiral Viliame Naupoto’s Christmas message as part of a two-day hospital visitation within the Suva and Nausori corridor.

Members of the RFMF band under the leadership of acting director of Music Captain Semiti Gade joyfully completed the visitation entertaining patients and hospital staff members.

Land Force Command chief staff officer Operations, Major Sirino Ropate told patients and hospital staff members at the St Giles Hospital: “We are here today as part of the second day of our two-day visitation of hospitals in Suva and Wainibokasi outside Nausori.”

He said the Commander’s Christmas greetings included the well-wishes of our troops serving locally, and those serving in Peacekeeping missions abroad.

The RFMF Band lit up the atmosphere with smiles and laughter as they entertained the audience with Christmas carols and dancing to a few local jazz numbers.

It set a joyous mood for the patients who were also included in the entertainment.
