A man yesterday admitted a count of act with intent to cause grievous harm, but pleaded not guilty to a second count of theft in the High Court in Suva.

A man yesterday admitted a count of act with intent to cause grievous harm, but pleaded not guilty to a second count of theft in the High Court in Suva.
Jiuta Moroca appeared before Justice Salesi Temo. He has been further remanded in custody.
It is alleged that Moroca caused grievous harm to a Chinese national and dishonestly appropriated $2000 from the victim.
Justice Temo has asked the prosecution to outline the theory and the evidence that they will be relying on to convict the accused.
The case has been adjourned to January 27 for a pre-trial conference.
