The Fight Is On
The main title fight is on.
Abhay Chand and Opeti Tagi will take centre stage for the second time for the Super middleweight title today at Prince Charles Park in Nadi.
Chand hit the scale at 76.6kg and Opeti Tagi 76.4 during the weigh-in yesterday.
Chand said; “I have been preparing well for this fight and have been waiting for it for a long time.
“It has finally come and I want to thank the Kiran Boxing Promotion promoter Ben Krishna for giving me another opportunity to meet Tagi again.
“In the last fight I lost on points and I want to make amends to make my fans happy.”
Chand appeals for his fans to come out and support him
“I am requesting all my supporters please come in numbers and be there for me, “he said.
