The Western Zeniths won the Digicel/ Punjas Netball Super League final round yesterday.

The young Lautoka team edged defending title holders, Capital Force 46- 44.

Team manager Lo Raevuevu revealed how they bounced back from their earlier defeat against the Force.

“We just went back and I told them our midcourt was not very strong,”she said.

“We know they got senior players like Afa Rusivakula and Filo Korovulavula.

“We just had to pressure them as they are key players.

“After the second quarter we knew we had it in the bag.

“I told them to play simple netball and remember the name Zeniths as it has a lot of meaning.

“I know these girls are not going to stop here.

“They are a very young team except for goalkeeper Alisi Naiqiri and I know come next year, they will go a step up.”

Meanwhile, the Satellite Divas beat Jisoko Plateaus 52- 38 and Stallion Starlets edged Central Swifts 30- 27.
