Found Men Towed From Reef To Vatia Wharf

Three fishermen reported missing on Friday have been found.
Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro said the men from Lautoka went fishing on November 19 and while returning on December 2, their boat developed engine problems.
As a result, the boat drifted and was believed to have got stuck on Vunativi Reef, off Ba. Ms Naisoro said the three fishermen were found yesterday and their boat was towed to Vatia wharf, between Ba and Tavua by another boat arriving just before 2pm yesterday.
She said the crew members were medically examined by a nurse at Vatia wharf.
One of the fishermen, a 21-year-old from Delai, Tomuka in Lautoka was receiving medical treatment at the Tavua Hospital.
