The children and youths of Kinoya Assembly of God Church in Nasinu yesterday, presented their annual Sunday School Christmas programme with style.

The special programme saw around 60 participants, from pre-school to tertiary, who showcased what they had learnt throughout the year.

Church Sunday School Superintendent, Talaite Yauyau said: “Today, we will show the church and parents a summary of what we have been doing throughout the year.”

Ms Yauyau said  throughout the year, these young people have been practising skits, dramas and dances showcasing the Gospel of Christ and the Christmas message.

Every year, the children are given a special Sunday for their Christmas items.

To make the occasion a much more special one, they performed for the first time in their Church building that was officially opened this year.

“I really love working with the kids and it’s a great opportunity for me to be leading them in their walk with the Lord,” she said.

Ms Yauyau added that the Sunday School committee also presented these children with early Christmas gifts.

“We have around 60 Sunday school children from pre-school to tertiary institutions who are part of this programme and it is our duty as church leaders to groom them in their walk with the Lord,” she said.
