Twenty Nasinu Rugby Football Union participants attended the World Rugby Level One strength and conditioning workshop last Thursday.

It was held at Assemblies Of God High School and conducted by Fiji Rugby Union development unit manager Sale Sorovaki, Jone Koroi and Lemeki Savua.

NRFU president Paula Biu said it was an eye opener and good experience for the participants as they learn a lot in the field of strength and conditioning.

“This is part of the NRFU development programmes in educating our club officials in all arms of rugby and to be on par with the latest development,” he said.

“This was the second programme organised apart from the WR Level One coaching course back in May 2016.”

NRFU are working closely with FRU on the other programmes and WR Level One refereeing course will be the next one.

“We would like to thank all the participants and the FRU development Unit. We also thank the AOG High School management for the school facilities.”
