Children from Saint Christopher’s and Dilkusha Home were treated by staff member of Asco Motors yesterday.

About 50 children from both homes were treated to lunch, candies, face painting, and games by the staff members.

“As part of our social corporate responsibility it’s important that big corporate companies like ours give back to the community,” said Human Resources manager Avnit Sundar.

The children were all in a jovial mood as they enjoyed the food and games provided by the Asco Motors staff at their Nabua dealership in Suva.

Sister Kalo Tuinea of St Christopher’s Home thanked Asco Motors for reaching out to their home and sincerely was grateful to the management for treating the children to an early Christmas event.

Children were later treated to dinner and were presented gifts as well.

This is the second year the company is hosting the children from the homes and Asco Motors Nadi Branch will be hosting a similar event in Nadi today.

St Chrisptopher’s Home has 26 children with 9 staff while Dilkusha Home has 36 children and 17 staff in its care.
