The Miss World contestants took part in a ‘Cook Off’ challenge in New York.

Our Miss World – Fiji, Pooja Priyanka, was in Team Oceania where they made pancakes.

Her team did not win the competition but she was excited to be part of the challenge. Team Caribbean won the challenge.

Each team were given 30 minutes to prepare their food.

The challenge was judged by Chef Sed, Chef AJ and Kyle Schmitz.

Apart from the competition, Ms Priyanka is enjoying every moment of her trip to in United States.

With other contestants around the globe taking part, she recently visited the White House.

On Miss World Fiji’s Facebook page, Ms Priyanka said: “Today we visited some of the monuments in Washington! So cold but so nice   #WhiteHouse #MissWorld #MissFiji #Poojapriyanka #MW2016 #WashintonDc #Memorial #CapitolHill #MissWorldFiji.”

Miss World will be held on December 18 at The Theater at MGM National Harbor in Oxon Hill, Maryland, United States.
