Nushad Ali from Nasinu has been serving Allah his entire life and enjoys conversations about spiritual growth.

The 54-year-old was born into a family that had been following the Sunni Muslim faith.

“We have to follow the rules and regulations in the Holy Quran to make our life and children’s life better.

“I would like to tell the young generation not to go into modern technology, but to follow your religion to succeed in life,” he said.

“Also, young people should follow their ancestors because this religion was not made just a couple of years back.”

He said he is lucky to have the Holy Quran, the final book of Prophet Muhammad that contains instructions on how to live life.

“It is the book that says all our laws and regulations like a Constitution for the Muslims.

“Sunni Muslims celebrate Prophet Muhammad’s birthday because our Quran says this universe is given just for him and he’s the one who will look after the whole universe, but it is created by God,” he said.

Mr Ali is an architect who and lives with his wife and two sons.
