Passion for the work you do is a driving factor behind success.

This rings true for Neelesh Kumar, 40, who has been part of the Morris Hedstrom (MH) family since 2007.

“I am excited to be part of this team. Every day is a learning process for me. I really love to work for MHCC,” Mr Kumar said during the MHCC ninth birthday celebrations in Suva yesterday.

Mr Kumar, who started his career at the Valelevu MH in 2007, said being part of the MH chain of supermarkets was a privilege.

He became store manager at the MHCC supermarket. He is now the operations manager handling the day-to-day MHCC activities.

One of the best parts of his work, was seeing people flock to the city mall, which has long become a household name.

MHCC in downtown Suva is the country’s pioneering major mall.

Mr Kumar said: “It’s a meeting point for people. If you have to meet someone, you just have to say, meet you at MHCC.”
