Jannif: Go Out There With Confidence

If there was a more fitting message to tell fresh graduates who will soon enter or continue in the workforce or studies, it would be to go out there with ‘confidence’.
That’s exactly what Fiji National University chancellor and chairman Ikbal Jannif told 104 students who graduated in Labasa from various disciplines yesterday.
“Be the extraordinary person in your work force,” Mr Jannif said.
“We and the Government need you.
“You can be successful in life if you are passionate about your work.
“If you have the passion no matter how difficult situation can become and no matter how many long hours you have to work you will not only survive but you will thrive in your profession.
“Never doubt in yourself.
“Your performance will reflect the education and training you have received from FNU.
“We rely on you to be the living testimony.”
Meanwhile, Mr Jannif talked of meeting with the Minister for Education, Heritage and Arts Mahendra Reddy and Minister for Local Government Parveen Bala and stakeholders at the new FNU Labasa Campus site.
The new campus is an investment of $10 million as recently reported.
