Yesterday, the multi-storey complex came to life as children rushed to have a glimpse of Santa, who was out on his Christmas buggy and giving goodies to children.

“There are gifts available at the Tappoo department store for everyone from souvenirs, jewellery, perfumes, cosmetics, and more,” Mr Remal said.

“We have created a photo booth where children, families and friends can have their photo taken with Santa and a photo booth filled with Christmas trees and gifts.”

He said to supplement their toy shop with board games, trains, cars and more, they offered a buy one and get one half-price special on Christmas toys.

“Tappoo City – your store of Christmas Dreams, has got you and your entire family covered for the festive season,” Mr Tappoo said.
