Think before you drink

Floyd Robinson,

Nasinu

What would December mean if our stores ran out of alcohol supplies?

A crazy question it may seem, but people do get crazy when consuming one too many.

One can imagine how frustrating the partygoers would be. Perhaps more homebrew productions?

All in all, just remember that alcohol consumed will leave the body soon, but the consequences of over consumption can have a long and painful impact..

Cyclone warning

Kirti Patel,

Lautoka

A small tip on cyclone and the goosebumps starts. Yes Monster Winston has left such a trail that made everyone alert even if it meant heavy rains only.

This time of year it would be wise to keep everything on track because cyclones, in general, have a mind of their own.

Be vigilant and be prepared. It never hurts to hear something that sounds like a broken record. What hurts is when we don’t listen to take advice.

Let’s take heed and make wise decisions. Prevention is better than cure.

Bus checkup

Tomasi Boginiso,

Nasinu

During the heavy downpour the other day, I got into a bus and some of the seats I found was wet with the floor too, which were slippery.

I urge bus drivers to monitor the condition of their buses especially during this rainy season.

Some passengers either ignore being wet or they use other means of getting the seats dry.
