ANZ Donates To Fiji Red Cross To Assist With Flood Relief
– Urges customers facing financial hardship to seek assistance early –
ANZ today announced the donation of FJD10,000 to the Fiji Red Cross to assist with the provision of clean drinking water and hygiene packs for those affected by flooding in Fiji.
ANZ Fiji Acting CEO, Rakesh Ram, also urged customers to contact the bank early for special assistance if they are facing financial hardship due to the flooding.
“We appreciate that some customers may be facing financial hardship following the recent floods due to damage to their homes,” Mr Ram said. “I would like to urge these customers to contact us early if they are finding it difficult to meet their loan repayments.”
Mr Ram said that the added financial pressures of the festive season could compound the burden on customers impacted by the floods, adding that ANZ was ready to consider customer applications for special assistance on a case by case basis.
