Officers in the Northern Division have raised concerns about children seen swimming in rivers and creeks despite several warnings to refrain from doing so.
Mobile controls conducted along the Dreketi to Seaqaqa Highway have noted this worrying occurrence and we are urging parents and guardians to please keep your children at home.
This is not the time to be swimming in flooded areas, especially in rivers and creeks.
