Winning the Westpac Prime Minister’s Award for the large business operating internationally is the recognition to all the staff of Synergise (Fiji) Limited for their hard work and sacrifices.

Founder of solar installation company, Ajay Raniga was finding it a tough task to contain his excitement and was full of praises for his staff after bagging the award.

The Westpac Prime Ministers International Business Award 2016 for the Best Large Business Operating Internationally was open to companies with sales exceeding $5 million.

Synergise was announced as the winners for making a significant contribution to the nation.

They have an engaged workforce and whose growth, compelling business strategy, ambition and effective leadership allows the company to continually innovate in order to support future growth.

“We started off with doing few solar installations in Fiji, which were the largest for any poultry farm and a resort in the Pacific region. It has been a very interesting journey,” Mr Raniga said.

The company is providing services in countries like Papua New Guinea, Vanuatu and New Zealand by installing solar energy units ranging from 100 kilo watts to 1.1 megawatt.

“This award will go a long way in helping us market ourselves further,” Mr Raniga added.

The company now hopes to build onto its momentum with ingenuity and further expand its horizon.

“We offer solar as a service by providing our customers a system and leasing it back to you as opposed to then investing money to purchase it. So the customers are guaranteed savings from day one,” he said.
