Three people appeared in the Nasinu Magistrates Court yesterday charged with theft.

The three accused allegedly stole items that were given for donation by a charity organisation from Sydney, Australia.

Rashika Shabnum Ali, 30, Mohammed Imran Khan, 31, and Shainash Ali, 48, have been remanded by Magistrate Charles Ratakele.

It is alleged that between April 12, 2015 and July 11, 2015, the three accused at Nasinu dishonestly appropriated charity items to the total value of $5000, the property of Good Heart Foundation.

All three have sought Legal Aid assistance.

They have been given time to get suitable sureties to present in court later today.
