Ni sa Moce Mada
A Rewan living along the Rewa river sub estuaries posted a photo of a wilted pawpaw tree and tagged all his Lauan friends. The post was about the sudden demise of the tree having succumbed to the cold waters of the ruthless Rewa River. The post certainly attracted a lot of comments from his tauvu from the Lau group of islands.
Thriving Laucala Island
Good to hear that the island is fully booked-out this Christmas season. While some employees who live on the adjacent Qamea Island were affected by TDF04, their needs will surely be met and more.
Of course the least expensive room on the island sits around $6,000 a night.
Christmas goat
Christmas dinner is a meal with family and friends which is always traditional. The meals are often particularly rich and substantial.
A good example by a friend who shared how a guy ordered a goat from the interior of Tavua which was said to be organically raised. Unfortunately, his Christmas dinner plans of prime goat meat were short-lived when that particular goat was swept away during the flood.
With no other organically raised goat available in Tavua, he will now resort to a ploughing goat from Buabua.
