“My passport would get stamped for the first time thanks to Punjas Breakfast Crackers.”

These were the words of Peniasi Nasusu, the first winner of the Punjas Crackers HK Mai promotion.

Mr Nasusu has won a trip to Hong Kong and says participating in the promotion has changed his life.

“Random people are recognising me as if I was famous. Where ever I go people are staring at me, some of them actually asked me if I had won the HK Mai promotion with Punjas,” he said.

Mr Nasusu said his following on Facebook has also increased due to this.

“After winning, I received many friend requests on Facebook, many of them I don’t even know,” he said.

“After my friends heard the news, they wanted to take selfies with me and post it up on Facebook,” he said.

He entered the promotion while studying during his FNU study break.

“I was studying for my final exams when my cousin brought three packets of Punjas breakfast crackers,” he said.

“So I asked her if she could give me the barcodes of the crackers wrapper. I sent in three entries altogether,” he said.

Mr Nasusu is encouraging others to participate in this promotion.

“Many of us do not participate in such promotions but we should as that is how I got a chance to achieve my dream of travelling overseas,” Mr Nasusu said.

Punjas Group Marketing manager, Gopal Jadhav, said Mr Nasusu was the winner from the first draw which took place on December 3.

Mr Jadhav said that all expenses would be catered for his travel.

“The win includes free air ticket, free hotel accommodation for four nights, spending money of $2000 and free stadium tickets to watch the Hong Kong 7’s from April 7 to 9, 2017,” he said.

He added that nine more winners would be  announced in the coming months uptil March.

Mr Nasusu, together with nine other winners, would be travelling to Hong Kong on April 6.
