Please treat us like a partner and let us know if you have needs, the Vodafone ATH Foundation told Babasiga Ashram staff yesterday.

Senior members of the community were all smiles as they welcomed the team from Vodafone Fiji Limited at their home.

Decked in their white silky Christmas wear, there was animated conversation during the course of the programme.

Vodafone ATH Executive Ambalika Devi  urged the Ashram’s administration saying; “Please treat us like a partner and let us know if you have needs, if you do not tell us then we would not know.

“This is our culture, what we have been doing since 2004 where we give Christmas donations to homes and also to the disadvantaged.

“Also to boys’ centres, HART homes and this time we have chosen the Babasiga Ashram, we did the same thing last year, actually the relationship does not end here.

“Now we are here with $1000 worth of gifts from staff of Vodafone Fiji Limited and we are also here to identify the needs we have here so we can engage other corporate donors and bigger partners.

“This will enable us to all come together and address the needs of Babasiga Ashram.”
