Queensland Reds winger Chris Kuridrani married Selina Leo at the Outrigger Fiji Beach Resort in Korotogo yesterday.

The couple, who first met in church in Brisbane two years ago, potted their love for each other in  front of families and friends.

Guests included Wallabies’ Samu Kerevi and Tevita Kuridrani, who was the best man.

Originally from Namatakula, Nadroga ,Chris is the younger brother of Flying Fijians wing Nemani Nadolo and a cousin of Tevita.

He played for the Fijian Under-20 national team  in the 2010 Junior World Championship in Argentina, and scored a try against New Zealand in the opening pool game.

The 26-year old said; “I could not ask for a better day in bringing Selina and marry her here in the Coral Coast. It’s like a dream come true and it has all worked out.

“I first met her in church and had my eyes on her and it was long after until I asked her out. She has really helped me in my career, she has been my backbone and supported me all the way.

“I am blessed that she will be part of my life now.”

He also highlighted his rugby goals for this year,

“My goal this year was able to be part of the Wallabies. And to be in the training squad with cousin Tevita, Taqele. Naiyaravoro, Sefanaia Naivalu, Henry Speight and Samu Kerevi is good learning experience for me.”

Selina, who looks radiant in her white gown and has maternal links to Tuvalu said, “ We met at  a Brisbane Christian Church and have been together for two years now.

“He is so generous, super loving and has strong family value which I really love about him and looking forward to our future together.”

The 27- year old who now has become his husband’s number one rugby fan said, “I love watching and going to his games and supporting him.”

The couple will be spending a few days here before visiting Nadolo in France.
