Vodafone ATH Fiji Foundation handed over a $10,000 cheque to the Cakaudrove provincial council.

Vodafone ATH Fiji Foundation handed a cheque of $10,000 to the Cakaudrove provincial council for the Tokatoka Vacalea and Gaunavou youth clubs, Taveuni South primary and Taveuni South secondary schools.

“Two schools will get Education support of free tablets and internet connection for a year, while youth clubs are getting funds to revamp and kick start income generation projects that generates social profit,” said the foundation executive Ambalika Devi.

“Vodafone ATH Fiji Foundation is really a blessing to the four youth clubs who will be assisted by the foundation,” said Senior Assistant Roko, Vilai Basalusalu Talemate.

“Our vision is ‘Effective and Efficient participation of the iTaukei in the Peace, Progress and Prosperity’,” he said and Vodafone ATH Foundation’s support is effectively making a difference.

“Thank you so very much for the generous support and open mind to come down to the grassroots level and show your support to all levels of the community at Cakaudrove.

“Your contribution will lead to positive change to the lives of our future generation and will make their dreams come true at the right time.”

He thanked Vodafone ATH Fiji Foundation for opening the door of opportunity, which is a huge step for the youth groups to begin with and surely they will never forget the brand that helped them step up towards development.

“On behalf of all the Youths in the Province Of Cakaudrove, we would like to say a big vinaka vakalevu to Vodafone ATH Fiji Foundation and we hope that there will be more for Cakaudrove in years to come. We wish Vodafone a very successful New Year.”
