Four people are now in custody at Ba Police Station and will be produced in court tomorrow for a series of theft during the Christmas week.

The four suspects have been charged with four counts of theft each for their involvement in the series of thefts.

In the period of 23rd to 26th December, 2016, 40 bags of fertilizer were stolen from a farm in Veisaru in Ba and a total of five goats and a sheep were stolen from around the Ba communities.

Throughout Christmas and New Year, Ba Police personnel were working around the clock to recover the items reported stolen.

On Friday (30th December, 2016) a team was formed and with reliable information they were able to recover most of the items that was reported stolen.

All four suspects were also arrested with 23 bags of fertilizer and four goats were recovered.
Ba Police personnel were assisted by members of the community at large who provided them with vital information which had resulted in the arrest and recovery of items.
