A charity organisation in Fiji with corporate bodies continues to take steps to complement Government’s plans in education.

Fiji Kids! Learning for Life, is a charity group registered in Fiji that provides financial assistance to help poor children go to school.

The charity will partner once again with Outrigger Fiji Beach Resort’s human resources department as part of their community project for the year.

Outrigger Fiji Beach Resort general manager, Peter Hopgood, said: “Outrigger’s perspective, we are truly honoured to be able to assist Fiji Kids and their sponsors in their efforts to support the children of Nadroga/Navosa with their educational needs.”

“The individual sponsors are truly amazing people who take the time out of their busy lives to assist the children with their educational needs – This is life changing!”

The charity could not be prouder as a record six Fiji Kids commenced further studies in 2016.

In addition, 10 Fiji Kids graduated from secondary school and another four have been offered the chance to pursue further studies.
