Indian Scholarships Open Now Until January 15

The Indian High Commissioner to Fiji, Vishvas Sapkal, is urging more Fijians to apply for the Indian scholarship.

“We want maximum students to apply for the scholarship,” he said.

“This is a good opportunity for the students to upgrade their skills in different fields.”

The applications close on January 15 before 4pm.

Mr Sapkal said this scholarship will offer students the best quality education.

“The scholarship offers a variety of courses and allows students to study in India’s top universities,” Mr Sapkal said.

“The scholarship also offers cultural activities such as yoga, cultural music and classical dance.”

Students applying for the scholarship have the opportunity to study at 124 universities in India. Only 30 applications will be accepted.

Some of the course available are BA in mass communication/media studies; BA in political science; BA in sociology; Information Technology; MBA courses; and agriculture studies.

Students have to submit six hard copies of the application to the ICCR and email one soft copy to ICCR.
