Lockington Is New Fiji Hotel And Tourism Association Chief Executive

Fantasha Lockington has been appointed the new chief executive of the Fiji Hotel and Tourism Association (FHTA).
Ms Lockington succeeds Michael Wong who left the post last week.
Mrs Lockington worked for Air Pacific (now Fiji Airways) from 1994 to 2005, rising to manager products and marketing services.
She then became the director global sales and marketing at Blue Lagoon Cruises for three years.
In October 2010, she took up the role of general manager customer relations at the Housing Authority of Fiji.
As of yesterday, Ms Lockington has taken up the chief executive role at the FHTA.
Fiji Hotel and Tourism Association is the industy body for the country’s hotels and resorts.
It also includes dive and marine tourism operators.
Mr Wong joined the Association in 2006 as executive officer.
From 2007 he was the acting chief executive until his appointment to this substantive position in 2009.
