Baby Silver Ferns here to win series

Fireworks are expected when the Digicel Punjas International Youth Netball Series gets underway at the Vodafone Arena in Suva tomorrow.
Arriving at Nadi International Airport yesterday, New Zealand Under-21 coach said she was confident that they were going to put on a good show.
“It’s going to be a great week of netball and we are hoping to get a lot of support in Fiji during the tournament,” Wills told SUNsports.
Wills said this was an important tournament since Australia are also taking part.
Both the world netball powers are treating it as a key part of their preparation for the World Youth Cup in Botswana.
New Zealand are defending champions.
“Australia as well has got their team together because we have the franchise competition starting and this means we are limited in what we can do with our team,” she said.
“We really appreciate Fiji putting on this tournament. To come and play here in the heat has enabled us to get our combination for the Netball World Youth Cup.”
She said the team reported to camp last Thursday in Auckland before they flew over.
“We had a big squad but we cut it down to the twelve that we brought over. So everyone is in really good shape, we are not carrying any niggling injury, so we had a good week.”
The Baby Silver Ferns are boosted with the experience of New Zealand Secondary School team and New Zealand A players like Holly Fowler, Jamie Hume, upcoming stars Kimiora Poi and Ainsleyanna Puleiata.
