Sam Lee expects fireworks in today’s second stage of the Asian Qualifying School at the Suvarnabhumi Golf and Country Club in Bangkok, Thailand.

The 25-year-old is at the same course he played in two weeks ago, where he finished in the top six.

“I know what to expect on the first two rounds and I have to play solid and go low because the course for the third and fourth round are not easy,” he said.

“There was nothing wrong in the last round. I just didn’t putt well as I should have. And it was hard to stay focused because I already knew I was going to make it to second stage.”

Lee said there would be good players coming from other tours as well.

“It depends on the people qualified. I have been practicing last week and will get ready physically for next week. Then I head to Melbourne to play the final stage of the qualifying school for the Australian Tour.”

The final stage will be from January 11-14.
