Indiana Express To Open In Lautoka

Indiana Curry House will be opening a new outlet at the new $30 million Tappoo City complex in Lautoka this year.
The eatery currently has two outlets operating in Namaka, Nadi and the other in Cuvu, Sigatoka boasting totally authentic Indian cuisines.
The new 100,000 square feet complex is owned by Sigatoka-headquartered conglomerate Tappoo Group.
It will also feature Tappoo department stores and specialty outlets.
Head chef and Restaurant manager Nathi Singh Negi said their business was thriving.
He added the new outlet was a means of giving back to the Fijian community at large.
The outlet will be named as Indiana Express due to the nature of set up.
Mr Negi said, “I would like to see all guests have a new experience which they have not had this chance before in Fiji. We are well known for our service and quality and would like to continue to be the best.”
He said as a business he was looking at around $150,000 investment for the project alone.
“I am looking forward to having as much success as my previous two restaurants. We want to provide the best food for the value to our guests. It is important to me that we maintain high standard in hygiene, food quality and value for the money.”
The eatery will be employing eight employees at their additional outlet in Lautoka.
“A total of 20 employees will be employed by company by the time we open our new location,” he said.
According to Mr Negi, the developers have assured them to operate in the new complex before the Easter weekend.
“We are told by developer that it is their target to have the facility ready by the first quarter of this year.”
